Merry Christmas!

This time of year is the perfect time to lay back a little.

Christmas is a time of giving, and even this year I want to give my gratitude to everyone, who has been reporting bugs over the last year.

Maintenance of our server

Hi there,

Our hosting provider DigitalOceans networking team will make changes to their core networking equipment to improve performance at the datacenter, where our service is located.

There is a little impact by this maintenance, which may be a few minutes of increased latency as well as small amounts of packet loss while they shift traffic to redundant devices. They will endeavor to keep this to a minimum for the duration of the change.

Happy New Year

and we are not being lazy this year either!

We are planning to release an event service, where you can subscribe to information you want to get pushed to your API / client / application.

The exact way of how it will be implemented is not finished yet, but we will cover it in more details on a later state 🙂

Urgent maintenance of our server

Hi there,

Our hosting provider DigitalOcean will perform an urgent software upgrade impacting a subset of physical machines. In most scenarios, this upgrade occurs seamlessly, with no impact to our TibiaData server, however they have identified that a very small number of upgrades require manual intervention and may result in a brief server downtime.

Our server may be potentially impacted by this maintenance.
